The Larder at Walthamstow Wetlands

The Larder

Walthamstow Wetlands

the Larder are delighted to be part of Walthamstow Wetlands, a stunning nature reserve in the heart of London’s Lea Valley, home to  an abundance of wildlife, rich industrial heritage and important reservoirs for London’s water. You’ll find us in the beautifully restored Engine House, with plenty of seating within the exposed brick walls of the original building as well as an outside terrace offering stunning views over Walthamstow Wetlands and London. You can expect an array of Larder favourites with our signature drinks list including Union hand-roasted coffee, speciality teas plus freshly baked cakes & pastries from our Larder bakers.

Now we’re on our winter operating schedule, Monday to Friday you can enjoy pastries with your morning coffee plus sandwiches and toasties for lunch or brunch, with cooked breakfasts available at the weekend from 9.30am.

We have plenty of inside seating and have outside seating on our glorious sun deck overlooking the Coppermill Stream. No bookings needed, please come along and find a table on arrival.

The Engine House offers a range of show-stopping spaces for private hire, ideal for weddings, dinners and corporate events. As the in-house caterer we will be working very closely with the Walthamstow Wetlands team to provide an array of options to suit you, from sumptuous breakfast & lunch buffets to evening drinks & canapé reception. You can find out more about our Daytime Catering options here, or evening Private Hire options here.
